“BLOG”, Which describes Vânia Valdo’s journey to the theme of soccer, are shown in the Café Journal (Cultural Space) – “Folia do Pé e Bola na Rede”, organized by curator Carmen Pousada. To honor the world cup and the carnival following the theme suggested for the exhibition, Vânia elaborated a surrealistic and illustrative series of oil paintings of various shapes and sizes. Made of its miscellany of colors and curves, the soccer ball intermingling game of colors seeking to convey the richness of the Brazilian fauna and flora.

Then three screens from another show "Ball Show", in which ninety artists from around the world will show "what your country has the best", according to the theme proposed. This show will be held during the world cup in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Piracicaba, followed later to New York and Miami. The immense work will feature the collaboration of ninety artists from around the world with screens in hexagonal format, imitating the seams of soccer balls, in a bold proposal and great creativity of the curator.
